Why we created Renew

Every single one of us has a vested interest in the simple fact that we’re growing older.

We think it’s funny - but defying the “old age” status quo and societal norms unexpectedly took us to a really fun and optimistic place. We’ve discovered, as you will discover, that aging in and of itself isn’t dire. Nor is it depressing. We can all grow and flourish all the way to the end. 

And if you come along with us on this journey, you’ll likely discover that you’ll want to grow old with us. Because frankly, we’re set on having more fun than everybody else, growing friendships and building the next phase in life as a step up. 

55+ year olds are more open to new opportunities and experiences than any generation before.

Did you know that you actually grow happier as you grow older? It’s a fact of life that is reflected in something called the U-curve of Happiness and it’s been borne out by dozens of studies around the world.

With the wisdom and experience of age comes opportunity. And new ways to express ourselves, share what we know and what we’ve learned along the way. 

Why does everyone think of age as a problem to be solved?

Sure there are new challenges: technology, health, and numerous other changes. Do you know that this age group is more open to new opportunities and new experiences than any generation before them? Opening new businesses, trying new adventures, but did you also know that 94% of people over the age of 55 are also open to new technology? That tells us there are way more opportunities opening up as we age every day. And we’re here to help you make the most of these opportunities.

And let’s face it, we can all use a little help. So we’re going to talk to experts, partner with them and bring them to you. There are some amazing and inspiring stories that we’re discovering every day. The sheer frequency and abundance is showing greater signs of a movement. And we’re making it our mission to bring this to our collective conscious.

But, who are we?

We are an ambitious group of children, parents, aunts, uncles, and even grandparents!

At the end of the day we’re just like you and we want to make the world a better place for all of us. More important – we have the experience of aging. We are seeing amazing things. We know there are so many people out there who are 100, but are not “old”! We want everyone to have that experience and think we can help make it happen.
